Default PIN from a device that deosn't work

Please Login to Remove!

Where would be the best place to look for the PIN on a device that deosn't work anymore (thanks to the never-ending reboot cycle of death)?

The device took a dump on me and now I have a different phone but the same model via a friend of mine. I can't set up my existing blackberry account on the "new to me" device because my friend hasn't "released" his email address from this phone. I am using the same SIM card, however.

I'm trying to see if Bplay will refund $ from a game I purchased for the new phone but was already activated on my old device. Problem is I can't really prove much without access to my blackberry email or PIN.

BTW, is there another way to access your blackberry email address without using the device? My carrier is AT&T.

Thanks for any help.

If you are referring to the carrier supplied email address, then no. The only way to read mail to that account is on the BB itself. One of the many reasons most of us do not recommend using it.

As for the PIN, it should be printed on the white tag under the battery.

That stinks about the email.

I never noticed the PIN on the tag. Thank you much!
