| BB 8300 Keys Not Responsive Please Login to Remove! I've gone through 2 BB Curves now for the exact same issue. The Reps have no idea of what is going on, and I have my second replacement phone on the way.
Here's what's happening:
- Reset the Phone, and the keys are unresponsive - all of them!! The trackball works fine, but the center selection button is unresponsive as well. Emails show up on the main screen, calls come through, but I cannot answer them, everything works, but the phone is innaccessible!
I've tried pulling the battery overnight, sitting it in front of a fan in case it was moisture inside, nothing seems to work!
The reps state that it is probably third party software interfering. The "only" software I have is Google Maps.
I have been thinking it could be a possible moisture problem or a virus piggybacking an email. However having a phone in your pocket without tripping the moisture sensors would be a poor indicator of moisture as I've heard from other reports, and the reps claim the servers block out most viruses if not all.
If anyone else is having these problems please respond. This cannot be an isolated incident.
