New/Noob BB user. OS questions
 

I bought my BB used from someone so I don't have the manual or anything just the phone and charger. I'm using the phone without the data plan so I can just make calls and text. So pretty much I don't really know much about the BB curve (8320). Anyway, I keep reading a lot about OS updates. Just wondering what all this OS stuff is and if I should update also and if so how would I do this? Thanks

It could help with phone voice and sound quality.

Could help with memory leaks too in some cases.

Also makes the phone snappier and usually fixes any bugs from the previous OS.
