Default 8350i (Nextel Curve) as modem with Vista??

Please Login to Remove!

Hey, new to BB and having issues.

Attempting to use my 8350i Curve from Nextel as a modem for my laptop thats running Vista. I've searched and searched but it seems like every way that people have done it doesn't work with the 8350i or the instructions aren't there for how to do it with Vista.

I've tried using "Sprint SmartView" it keeps saying 'no device detected' and I tried "Shark Modem" (mobishark.com) thankfully with that I only downloaded the trial instead of buying the $50 program.

I've attempted multiple times to set up the connection with no luck.

In my 'Network Connections' I have a connection named "3G Connection" that I never set up, it just shows up when my BB is connected but when I attempt to connect to that it can't connect and when I diagnose it, it says there are no problems.

Has anyone successfully done this? If so any help is greatly appreciated.
