hello.. i have a piece of blackberry curve 8310. from the first start up, it has full signal, but after a few seconds (3 seconds maybe) it suddently become no signal and show SOS sign, how to repair this kind of fault.. thx

It may be an issue with your SIM card. Do you have another SIM card you could try?

Is this a new BlackBerry?
Have you contacted the carrier?

i've try it with another simcard. one of them show good signal in that fone. but others show sos when it show good signal on another fone.. what's the problem

You never answered my questions about where the phone came from.

It sounds to me like the phone has been barred - marked as stolen or lost. Any possibility of that?

my 8320 does the same thing a couple of times a day...very frustrating. I think it might have started after the nes OS upgrade

It might also have been after I dropped it. Can the antenna have been broken by the drop?

Possibly. That's good information to have. You dropped it and now it doesn't work

Try another carrier sim (that will only work if the device is unlocked) or try your sim in another phone. If that phone works fine, chances are the problem is your device and/or antenna.

treid another carrier sim and so far no fall out. the strange thing is that my normal carrier is actually using the other carriers network for blackberry (e.g. I'm always roaming)
