Question Unusual Outlook Sync Questions

Please Login to Remove!

I'm a Windows Mobile guy, so I only know enough about BES and DM to be dangerous.

Having said that, here's the software rundown:

BES 4.1.6.10
Exchange 2003 on MS SBS 2003
8310 Handheld
DM 4.2.2.14 on Windows XP w/ Outlook 2007

Email via BES works fine... it's the contacts with which I am having problems.

The weird setup is as such:

I need this user's BB to one-way sync a set of MS Exchange Public Folder contacts and two-way sync a set of Personal Outlook contacts.

I haven't found a way to do that sucessfully with DM, so for now I have DM doing an Import instead of sync. That works OK, except that anytime a change is made to a Personal contact in Outlook, I end up with the newly modified Contact on the BB, but the old Contact record is not removed from the BB. It's sort of like getting duplicates, but not really because one record has up-to-date info and the other has out-of-date info. I have a feeling that the same thing would probably happen with modified Public Folder contact records, but I haven't verified it yet.

If I turn on two-way sync, all the Personal contacts on the BB end up in the Public Folder contact list (I can't have that happen, hence the Import setup).

Does anyone have any insight into a better way of doing this, or at least how to fix the duplication issue?

Thanks a bunch for your assistance!!!
