Ok so I've been using my BB for a few months now and am not a novice anymore but I always seem to find the questions that I cannot answer. Here we go:

1- I have shortcuts in my browser. Is there a way to make a shortcut on my home/app screen like the one for this forum (BBWap)? It would be for the Discover mobile page so I can just click it to go to the login screen.

2- I was browsing this forum and looking at the thread about the 2009 Otterbox. It has links to pictures of it (which are jpg's) and when I go to click it, it says unsupported file type. I even tried to save the file and it wouldn't let me. Is there something I need to update/download to be able to view images that are on websites?

3- This kind of goes along with the 2nd question but has to deal with videos. I'll just use YouTube since I know this has been an issue prior to me asking this. When I try to view YT videos, or any for that matter, I get the unsupported file format message. Even on videos that have the BB logo under "Supported file formats". What gives? Do I need to upgrade/update something on my BB for this to work?

Just so everyone knows I'm on a BB 8330 running 4.5.0.138(205).

I thought I had more but its late and I'm tired of typing this novel with my thumbs.

1-if you set it as your browsers homepage.
2-I checked them out and the forum is giving it as a malformed link. "GetAttachment.php"
3-You have to download them then play through BB's media player.

I thought that issue went away a few OS releases back. I'm running 4.5.0.160 and can view streaming YT videos. Maybe you can try OS .160. You can get it from the Alltel section of the BB Download site.

As far as YouTube, you can try downloading a YouTube player from App World.

I can't view YouTube videos even with .160.. kinda depressing, but a youtube player application works just fine.

It's a work around.
