How do I stop it showing the sent messages along side the recieved?

In the message folder press Menu>Options>General Options>Hide Sent Messages = ON.

Another question, can you change the colour of the background? I have changed my main display but wondered if the background colour could be changed?

Is there any way I can get text messages filtered somewhere so I only see text messages and not getting them mixed in with my email? If I don't hear the text message tone, I never know I have a text.
