I bought a battery off ebay, it was no good. It was the oem C-H2 extended life battery. when i put it in my phone I got a long red led and then the battery with a slash symbol came on the lcd. Returned the defective battery and was shipped a new one. Same problem. Am i missing something is there something i need to do to get this battery to work in my phone? my current battery lasts for about 3 minutes of talking or like 4 texts or emails.
my old battery was lasting that long, thats why i bought a new one. I just want to make sure that that battery is compatible with my curve. i am running 4.5.0.55 or whatever.
3minutes of talk time is not a lot. If that's how long your battery lasts, there's a problem with it. Might want to try a more reputable brand for an extended battery: Seidio
It has to be the battery. I tried it in my wives curve. So blackberry is not a reputable battery? Just forget about the 3 mins thing I said. I think you are getting confused. I know my old battery is bad. It slowly died on me, held less of a charge each day. Now it just shuts off when it shows like 80% battery. Agghhhh forget about that battery already. The new one isn't working in my phone or my wives.
So my question should be. Does anyone know of a place to buy a curve battery extended or regular in Southern California.
