Default Missing "Settings" icon

For some reason I'm missing the Options icon on my Blackberry 8310 and its not hidden.

Is there a way to get it back or get the settings icon back?

Wirelessly posted (Its All About the U!)

Hmm. The options icon cannot be hidden. For starters, go to

Phone
options
general options

Dial from home screen - No

Save,

Then go back to home screen and type "o" and see if it pops up

Was the icon hidden in a separate folder?

Funny you mention it was not hidden. Mine is GONE. I downgraded the OS on mine and it's not there. I have no folders, and I am using a standard L theme that came with the device (and was using prior to downgrading the OS). It's not hidden, its just gone. Weirdest thing I've ever seen.

Only way I can get to Options using the L theme is to press O from the home screen (with dial from homescreen turned off). I did notice that if I change to the regular BB Dimension Icon theme, it's there....but gone with the L theme.

Maybe someday I'll use JL_CMDR to wipe and reload the OS, which would fix it I'm sure, but I'm used to it now.
