Default Curve Help Please

Please Login to Remove!

I am new to owning a Blackberry Curve 8900 and very new here. I am hoping that someone can advise me if this is possible.

I want to transfer my Thunderbird Contacts Address Book to my Curve.

Is this possible?

If so please can someone tell me what to do?

Wirelessly posted (Its All About the U!)

I am not on a PC so I will do my best to assist.

1) Download the Desktop Manager to a PC. You can find the links in the BBFAQ Section

2) Transfer the items in your PC to a program such as outlook

3) Hook your phone to your PC and open DM

4) Look for option to sync. In particular, you want to import your info.

There are several different options but the basic premise is the same: export your Thunderbird address book into something that will sync with the BB. Search here and on Google if you want other options than what is listed above.

Not sure what Thunderbird can sync/download to, but 3 free options to look at are Gmail, Yahoo, and a plain text file.

All 3 of these can then be sync'd directly to the BB. Gmail can be done over the air with Google Sync, and Yahoo and the text file can be done via Desktop Manager.

Shouldn't this be in the 8900 forum?
