Default AARGHHH! 8330 Browser question.

Please Login to Remove!

Hi guys...I may be the oddball of the group, but I'm not in love with my Blackberry yet. I CAN NOT figure out how to get a REAL FRIGGIN BROWSER up so I can surf the web like a normal human bean, and I can't figure out how to get signed in to the ONE browser I have (Excite).....am I a moron? WHAT information have I missed? Can somebody with a LOT of patience tell me what to do, other than pound sand? ............LOL

Thanks all!

You may not be a moron (although you seem to be a human bean?) so I'm not so sure. ;)

What exactly are you trying to do?

The BlackBerry comes with the BlackBerry Browser (as long as you have a BlackBerry Data Plan) and you can also use the Opera Mini browser and the Bolt Browser.

Not sure what you are trying to to with Excite. That's not a Browser, is it?

I'm leaning toward MORON here, I can't get the blackberry browser either. For some reason, I get straight to an Excite page, and that's IT.....do I need to just start drinking?

THANKS!!

I'm ALSO spending a lot of time looking at an hourglass in ALL applications.....Is something running that is slowing the whole works down, and do I need to dump this pig and just get an instinct? (I hate Sprint)

Am I too impatient?

Wirelessly posted

If you are not aware "flash" is not supported on bb browsers. As far as slow, that depends on what and how many third party apps.

Press ALT and the escape key to see what programs are running in the background. It might be a case of you having too many programs up at the same time. Also, try a battery pull and see if that doesn't help with the situation.
