Default Phone Scenario

Please Login to Remove!

Ok so I currently have Tmobile and a BB Pearl..Phone is slowly not working. Tmobile basically told me to pound sand with repairing it and that all they will give me is $50 off full retail of another phone.
So here is my idea..take my sisters BB Curve (with her permission) and send her into ATT and say she dumped it into a river and grabbed it but the phone was junk. So she grabbed the sim out of it and tossed the phone. So she would insurance claim that one (with me paying the insurance premium) and she could get another phone. And I take her old one and get it unlocked and I have a new/used phone for under $100.

Anyone see anything bad with this? Do phone companies do anything with the serial numbers?

Insurance fraud ... now there's a good thing to publicly discuss.

Wow.

If you don't want to pay to upgrade now then wait until you're eligible for a subsidized upgrade. I don't get why everyone feels entitled to one at any give moment.

What exactly is the problem with your Pearl?
