Hey guys,

Hopefully you can help. I got a blackberry curve with tmobile. About 1 yr 7 months old running version 4.5.0.81. I know its not a memory card issue cuz it happens with that in or out. I'll be using the phone, and it will just turn off. Trying to remove battery and plug back in makes the phone try to restart but it never completes. I can only get the phone back up via charger. After charging phone will last a few hours again... never longer than a day. Strange thing is battery meter shows strong charge still when phone dies. Is it time for a new battery? Is there anything else to try before spending money on a new battery?

yeah my 8310 did the same thing. new battery fixxed it. word of advice, do not buy a generic or "oem" battery off EBAY. spend the 30-40 bucks for a new oem battery @ a local retailer or ask on here for specific brands to buy.
