Question Strange reception problems?

Please Login to Remove!

I was using a Blackberry Curve 8330 on the Sprint network (I enabled another phone because of this issue), but I was having some problems. I had horrible reception (other people had a decent reception with their phones on the same network). Also, it appeared that I had strange problems with my phone calls at 2:53. It would disconnect, regardless of who I was talking to.

I also had a problem with apps and stuff. I couldn't figure out how to install and uninstall stuff (this is my error). I'm currently using the Palm Pre which doesn't like 1xRTT apparently, so I was thinking about switching back to the BlackBerry Curve 8330. Anyone know how to resolve this issue I had with the reception and stuff? I liked the Curve, but people not being able to hear me on my phone and stuff sometimes was FRUSTRATING.

Thanks in advance! If I accidentally put this in the wrong section, can someone move it or redirect me to the appropriate forum? This seemed to be the most appropriate forum that I could find. Thanks in advance!

I found the Blackberry FAQ website, so I found out how to uninstall apps. I'm curious if I should downgrade my OS and then upgrade again and maybe this would fix the problem or something?

Yes you can downgrade the OS and then upgrade it again. If you go with this option, see how your phone works after the downgrade, before trying the upgrade again.
