Pull the battery and check for debri on the contacts.
Check the usb port for debri.
Take the phone to your provider.

How are you trying to charge it - via a wall charger or using the USB cable hooked to a PC?

If you are hooking directly to the PC, make sure that you have Desktop Manager installed on the PC. The BB needs the drivers in that installation to be able to charge. Also, do not hook into a HUB, hook directly to the PC USB port.

I had a problem with my charging cord for my 8300 that after a while it wouldn't connect. It would go into the phone for about 1 min then if you were to hit it or something it would stop charging. (This is with a wall charger)
If its not broken then don't try to fix it!!!
