Default What size Micro SD card for 8310?

Please Login to Remove!

I've got a 2 GB micro SD card for my 8310 but want to add more memory.

How large a micro SD card (memory wise) can the 8310 recognize? Can I put a 8 GB or 16 GB card in it and expect the device to recognize it?

Thanks,
Crockett

Wirelessly posted

Your BlackBerry would have to be running OS 4.5.0.81 or higher to read a 16GB card. And t least 4.5 to read an 8GB.

You can check it at the link http://kirrinjones.wordpress.com/2009/08/14/supported-microsd-card-sizes-for-blackberry/

Please read the FAQ. It all depends upon the OS installed on your device.

I am using an 8gig micro sdhc card on my 8310 Curve. Make sure that you format the card using the blackberry before saving files on it. Otherwise the BB will not recognize it.
