What sort of indication do you have that indicates an unread message?

And please watch the language.

Have you tried a battery pull yet to see if that makes it go away?

If it is a globe msg icon you, have to go to messages and view folders and it's in there, sorry i forgot which folder.

That took me a bit, just showed up last month for me.

This occurs to me on a regular basis. I've tried searching for the message using Search - Unread Messages - All. There is nothing there. The only way to fix this is to perform a battery pull.

This may be a wap push msg. It is denoted by a globe symbol which i think is oramgish in color. Most likely that it is an automated update for one of your apps and hence when the update is complete it will disappear. Dont stress about it! You can delete it but I wouldnt recomend it.
So if it is denoted ny the Orangish globe then your mystery is resolved.Cheers!

I've got this same orange globe with a number 1 in front of it. I went to Verizion to ask them and they had no clue.
I have gone through every single message and checked every application for some type of notification to no avail. Can anyone help out with this?
