Default What is this "Backup and Restore" you speak of?

I hear people talking about "backup and restore". Is this an application? I have a 8330 and it's not on my device. I'm using 4.5.0.77

I need to backup my contacts but I don't know how. I'd also like to put them onto my sd card if possible.

It's part of BlackBerry Desktop Software, which gets installed on your Windows PC.
It's on a CD-ROM which was packaged in the box along with your device.
