Can you provide more info please. What app? What device did you previously install it on? What error messages are you getting?
Apps are generally device specific, meaning it has to be for specifically your device and your OS. AFAIK, you can't move files as you suggest, they must be properly installed on the device itself.
To get the app for your device, the best way would be to contact the developer of the app.
