Default media card error

Please Login to Remove!

When i insert my memory card into my Blackberry 8300 and under the media card option I made sure it was turned on, it said "Media card cannot be read. Verify that the memory card is formatted." So I then tried formatting it and a message appears saying "Media Card Formatting Failed." I turned off my device and took out the battery and turned it back on but it still won't work. Anyone know how to fix this issue?

Wirelessly posted

What size is the media card and what version OS are you running. Checkout this table to see if your media size is supported by your BlackBerry OS http://kirrinjones.wordpress.com/2009/08/14/supported-microsd-card-sizes-for-blackberry/

If you can plug it into a memory card reader and try to view it on your computer. That happened to me once and the memory card died that is why it could see there was one in but could not use it. Even when I hooked it up to puter it couldn't read it. A new memory card purchase could be in your future.

Could be a bad card. I bought a few cards for myself and one of them was dead in the box. Exchange it if you can?
