Recently I have purchased a 8310 curve. The curve is turnning off automatically. I dont understand the reasons for that.

1. I checked the battery compartment. It is not loose.
2. I checked the auto on-off timings. The timings are 11.30 P.M as auto-off and 6 A.M as auto-on during weekdays and weekends.
3. The battery charge is full. Though this happens irrespective of battery charge status.
4. I have the latest OS 4.5.

Should I replace the instrument?

Do a reboot (battery-pull) and check if the issue is resolved.

If you have a microSD card, try reformatting or even using your BlackBerry without the SD card for few days.

For now, just pull the media card and see what happens. My guess which
the person above me mentioned, is that its the card.
