Since I'm not up for an upgrade yet (I want to get the Blackberry Tour) I was wondering if anyone knew the step-by-step process of how to update the OS on my Verizon Curve 8330 so I can at least make it faster (It has version 4.3 OS right now and is so slow!) I would like to upgrade to at least Version 4.5 OS and make it faster until I can get the upgrade. I don't have the CD that came with it and just got a new computer is there a way I can update that's free and easy and won't erase my phone's information like phone numbers, apps etc???

You can visit this blackberry website and go to support but make sure you have desktop manager to do your upgrade so you can use it to back up your info and restore when you finish.

It's always a good idea to back your data up prior to an OS upgrade. However, a backup is created in the upgrade process and the data is also restored.

Thats right I forgot that it backup automatically when doing an upgrade.
