Welcome to the forums.

1) How do I edit my notification tones (profiles)? - BlackBerryFAQ

2) Facebook, BBWeather, ToySoft has an NHL application, Poynt, etc, etc. There is a thread around here somewhere asking for people's top 5 applications. Might give you some good ideas.

This works on most BB's

A custom ring tone can be set for specific contacts on a BlackBerry smartphone that has 32MB or more of flash memory.

To set a custom ring tone, follow the steps below:

Click the Address Book icon on the Home screen of the BlackBerry smartphone.
Select the contact that a custom ring tone is being added for.
Press the Menu key and click Edit.
Press the Menu key again and click Add Custom Phone Tune.
Select the ring tone from the list of available ring tones.
Press the Menu key and click Save.

There is also an Autolock program that is great. I have a two year old son that loves this program called Baby Go. It teaches him letter sounds and he says them with it.

I am new to the 8330 also, and I have a question.

How do I change the background to a photo? I went to Media, Pictures, and Preloaded Pictures, but there are no photos there. My friends have dolphins or starfish when they turn on their phone, but I only have a plain grey screen.

Sorry, I wasn't familiar with the no hijacking rule. So here comes my own thread . . .
