Ok so I bought an otter box ...Man what a great case but here is the problem ...everyone that ha a BB knows every once in a while you have to do a hard boot (take out the battery ) I have to do it about every 2 months or so ... Its ussally cause a message wont delete ...

1. its kind of a PITA to get the hard cover back off the BB and I am scared I will brak it

2. I worry about streaching out the rubber cover

Soooo is there some key combo to do a hard boot or do I just have to pull the battery ??

also I am using OS 4.5.0169 is it worth up graing the phone ...I just worry about brickng it

Just press left ALT, right DEL & shift(aA) simultaniously !!!

These will both work 99 times out of 100.
Occasionally, you won't get the results you'd expect from a battery pull, though. Nothing is quite as good as physically removing the battery for 20-30 seconds. But when you're dealing with a snap-on case, these two options can save you a lot of hassle!
