hey, just to wonder what happens if my blackberry 8300 is 10/10 attempts, since i have a very wondering nephew and its only a matter of time until he does it. Care to help me before this happens?

Well, he has to type "blackberry" twice but after the 10th failed attempt, the BlackBerry will wipe out all data.

If its at 10/10, it will ask you to type blackberry to wipe the handheld.

but is the phone still use-able? or is the phone done for?

i do...everything is fine FOR KNOW...im scared my nephew will use up all the attempts and i am not sure what will happen when that does happen

You dont leave it lying around, you keep it on you whenever you can, and if necessary tell him he'll die if he touches it.
Well, maybe tell him something very bad would happen....if you dont like the idea of telling a child he'll die.
