How do I go about updating the software on my curve on the BB? Not connecting it to my pc instead...

Your post is very confusing.
The only way to upgrade a BlackBerry is to connect it to a PC.

What, exactly, are you trying to do?

There is no OTA for the BB OS, if that is what you are asking. Desktop Manager will tell you if there is an OS update for your phone when you connect to your computer.

I just downloaded the drivesafely message tool on my bb8330, but I get this error (Error starting DriveSafely: Class 'net.rimbackberry.api.mail.MimeBodyPart' not found. What can i do to fix this
