Default SD Micro Card Problem - Help please

Please Login to Remove!

I installed my 2G SD micro card but my phone tells me I have less than 1GB free memory still. It seems to be installed right. Why isn't my phone recognizing the micro card? What can I do? Thanks.

first try by formatting ur memory card in bb only. if this doesn't work out just check ur sd card directly in ur system by using card reader.

Default To clarify - I have an 8310

I just discovered I have the 8310. Thought I had 8300.
So my phone told me "media card detected" suddenly after I installed hours ago... yet this VR+ voice recording program tells me I have less than 1 MB of free space when I try to record and does not let me record at all. My card is 2 MB (or GB?) though. and when i go to options - media card - it tells me 1.8 GB is my total and free space.

do you think my memory card is working and its VR+ thats the problem?

thanks again everyone!

vanessa, 1.8 is normal. It has to do with the definitions used by the hardware manufacturers. Don't worry about it, it's normal.

vanes:
1. 1.8 is correct for your media card of 2GB size.
What type and size Media Card can I use in my device? - BlackBerryFAQ
2. Your blinking red LED will blink to alert for about 15 minutes after the SMS is received. If you want longer, look at third party application BBAlerts.
