VR+ Software on 8310
I got the VR + application on my phone today after transferring it from my desktop.
I try to record and the program tells me "Less than 1MB free space to record, continue?" and I say yes but then it does not let me record. It vibrates when I press the space key to record and no recording happens at all.
Furthermore, when I go to options - media card - it says I have 1.8GB this normal when I installed a 2GB card? Why doesn't it say 2 GB? and why does VR+ tell me I don't have more than 1mb free space?

Yes, its normal to show less than the advertised space a on SD card, a harddrive, etc. As for the explanation, I suggest search8ing the techrepublic forums. There was an excellent explanation on it there. As for VR+ is it set to save to SD card, or does it save to phone memory? You may need to manually set it to save to SD first.

I never used the app, so, can't make any suggestions there, though, BB's do seem to have an annoying habit of not allowing certain types of data to be saved to removable media for security. As I have mentioned elsewhere, BB's where designed with business in mind rather than entertainment. You may need to dig through and see what apps you have installed that you dont need or use and delete them to make more room on the phone. Things like old voice or text notes that you dont use also eat up space if you don't practice regular maintenance on your memory. Wait for someone who knows something about these apps, though, they may have better ideas. =) I've only had a BB for a few weeks.
