Default 8310 text and call display problems

Please Login to Remove!

Hi Guys,

I am a newbie to this forum hope you can help. My wife has had her old school 8310 for over 1 year and has constantly complained about the following problems.

1) When she receives a text it only show the phone No. on the display and not the name of the person. However if she has entered the persons phone No. in her phonebook with the international prefix eg +44 then the name appears.

2) When she receives a call from someone she has entered into her phone book with the international prefix, then she can only see the No. not the name, but if she removes the prefix she can then see the name.

Hope this make sense, any help much appreciated.

Rich
