Default Background Photo Question - New to BB World - 11-07-2009, 01:58 PM

How do I change the background to a photo? I went to Media, Pictures, and Preloaded Pictures, but there are no photos there. My friends have dolphins or starfish when they turn on their phone, but I only have a plain grey screen. Thanks for any help you can provide to a newbie.

I mean on the screen that's on when you see icons. Or on any screen for that matter. Am I supposed to have Preloaded Pictures?

u don't need to have preloaded pictures. they usually come with the manufacture settings (which u can always delete, which i presume is what happend)

if u have a mem.crd which has pictures, music, u can adjust your berry with that. i.e changing your homescreen.

or...if you don't have a mem.crd, the blackberry normally has 64mb internal mem. get a friend to send u a pic or two or connect your phone via usb to comp and get 64mb worth of pictures! :P
