Default Internet is SLOW on 8310 please help

Please Login to Remove!

Over the past couple of weeks I've really noticed the speed slow down on my curve that I've had for almost 2 years now. I've got the latest OS on it and use Internet Explorer as my browser. Also I've noticed it very slow when using my IM apps like BeeJive. Now as of the past couple of days, it will either not connect to the internet at all, or will take like 3 minutes just to pull up the google homepage. I've got 3 bars for signal where I live.

I've got another curve identical to this one (work phone) and the internet is working fine on it. (Though it is on the work enterprise server, dont' know if that matters or not.).

So far I've resent service books, clear cookes, cleared cache, and cleared pushed content.

Any other ideas?

What browser are you using? I don't thin IE runs on the BB.

Have you tried a battery pull to see if that helps? How much free memory do you have. That could be a cause. How many apps are running in the background? that would also slow things dow, especiallly if they are data intensive apps.

Like Dubdub said it's most likely a low memory problem. Try deleting any apps that you're not using and clean out SMS and EMails.
