I just switched from a AT&T 8310 Curve to a Sprint PCS 8330 Curve. I immediately noticed the difference when on the phone of the screen being fairly warm/hot shortly after the conversation starts. Is this normal? The AT&T phone was definately not like this.

It might be normal but that seems sorta weird. Never heard of a warm screen. If your device still under warranty, I'd consider getting it replaced.
