Wirelessly posted (8700g 2007-04-07) Is there a way to change the vendor id I have an (8320) unlocked att phone but run on tmoblie. I don't care about the logo it's just that certain service books up load no matter what I do hangdo, a gps nag program. They take up space that I tried to clear out following johns instructions. I have no interest in flashing the bios but I would like to see these programs gone. Also on some of the themes I removed they had a journal listing but I couldn't find such a program anybody know where I could get the .cod for it? |
Wirelessly posted (Tmo's cheapest BB customer) Vendor I.D. cannot be changed. |

nope |
Those are just installation shortcuts, they take up no real space on your device. Create a folder called "Junk", move the icons there and then hide the entire folder. And put your mind on something more productive, like whirled peas :) |
You try installing the Tmo ver of the OS? I'm using an ATT 8310 on Tmo without any service book issues or anything else. Had some fun loading the 8320 Tmo OS on the phone, but working fine now. |
It's not a matter of which carrier OS you load, the service books are pushed from your own carrier, regardless of the OS. |
