I have a BB curve and it has always connected to my laptop untill i installed sprintview. Now when i plug in the phone to computer useing a USB cable, computer shows "found new hardware" and ask's "locate and install driver software" When i click on that, it ask's to insert CD that came with phone, when thats done, says "no software found"
when i open my desktop manager, shows no device connected.
i uninstalled the sprintview and still have the same problem

Try a battery pull on the BB and see if that makes a difference.

If not, you might need to uninstall and then reinstall DM. From your explanation, the drivers from DM might have also been deleted. Did you insert the CD and let the PC try to find the drivers?

Don't know anything about Sprintview to make any suggestions about that.

Any other error messages?

Thanks. I did figured it out though. When it asked to do a search, i went advanced and searched the entire computer. It found it that way, why it was hiding elsewere not sure.
