OK, I went ahead and downloaded the desktop software onto my laptop since my desktop computer no longer has internet access because i wanted to get some songs off the laptop and put them on my phone, I have a 8350i with nextel service. So the manager is downloaded and i plug the phone in and it asks me if I would like to update these applications, I said yes and proceeded. It told me not to unplug the phone while this wqas happening so I didnt but when it was done uploading it came up as fatal error and had somehow erased my os. Came to this site, downloaded and followed steps to re-install new version of os for the 8350i but everytime i try and do it it comes up as an device connection error and wont finish. So my phone continues to display the white screen reading "reload software 507" can anyone help me get my phone up and running again, i need it for work. thanks jesse

If, for some reason, you end up with a white screen with small icons and the number 507, simply connect to the PC again and run Loader.exe again and it should load the OS to the device.

Move the USB cable to a different port on your laptop, if that doesn't help to connect, find a different PC and perform the procedure.
