Exclamation BB Curve Will Not Turn On

Please Login to Remove!

Alright, so the other day me and some friends were at a waterfall and they were throwing rocks and one hit my phone, which was face up in my pocket, and cracked the outer plastic screen. Didn't touch the LCD. I took the phone out of my pocket and the screen was black, with the indicator flashing red. I took the battery out and put it back in and now it will not turn on at all, the indicator light doesnt flash red or anything.

Could it be the battery? or when the rock hit, it made a connection short out somehow?
Need help a.s.a.p.

Given your description of what happened, and not being there, I'd say go shoping for another blackberry and don't carry it in your pocket.

I usually have it in the holster, in my pocket. But of course that day i left my holster at home. I really need to fix it, buying a new one is the last option.

Good luck. Post an update if you manage to repair it.

I'll need it.. I've already taken it apart trying to see if something's loose or damaged. But I'm not having any luck.

Yes. But after tossing out the smartass replies you were left with:

A) Rebuild your totaled blackberry.

B) Buy another blackberry.

So, let me see... Option A involves potential cost savings, but huge risk, and the great probability that it will be FUBAR when you are done with it. .

Option B isn't as expensive as it would seem, if you buy used or a refurb, and almost zero risk.

Kudos to those at Crackberry for going the extra mile to speculate about what _could_ be wrong and what _could_ be done to _try_ and rebuild your totaled blackberry. If that left you satified, well ...
