Got Your BlackBerry Wet? - BlackBerryFAQ

The key is time, if you got it really wet, soaked, it needs more time to dry, if you have not fried it already.

Good luck -- sounds like it was turned on before it was fully dried out. Recovering from water damage can be hit and miss if you're not extremely careful. Probably time for a replacement.

Sorry to hear, karanth. It does sound like time to shop for a replacement.
