Exclamation My 507 blackberry error. problems connecting to blackberry manager?

Please Login to Remove!

Right.. Yesterday i entered 10 incorrect password attempts on Blackberry Manger (i had the blackberry plugged in via USB). The blackberry then wiped itself and gave me the error 513. Ok, I then done some research i found out that it would be best to delete the o.s (operating system) and replacing with the same one, for it to work again. My Blackberry is currently in a Error 507 with a permanant backlight. I hook up the USB lead to the computer > blackberry but the blackberry manager i'm using does not connect with it, i have tried this with the lastest version "Blackberry desktop software v5.0" that failed then changed to "Blackberry® Curve (TM) 8300 smartphone v4.7" But still no sign of connecting.

I would be so greatfull if you helped even just a little, Thank-You!

Important information;
Phone type; Blackberry Curve 8310
Blackberry manager; Blackberry® Curve (TM) 8300 smartphone v4.7

Welcome to the forums.

Try following these steps:
What to do next if Jl Cmder will not connect and wipe - BlackBerryFAQ

Be very patient as it may take a few attempts before it connects.

Thanks. Great! i have the application loader wizard running, and the USB is detectable.

Now it asks if i want to install or remove anything from my device. At this point i want to install the O.S, where could this be located? would i have to download it from a source online?

What it's asking you to install is the OS, select which applications from the OS you want installed.

Do you see a list of items with check boxes and checks in the boxes? Like BlackBerry Messenger, BlackBerry Maps, BrickBreaker, etc?

No, it directs me to C:/programs. Could the o.s possibly be in blackberry manager folder?

Do you not know how to find your blackberry pin? Menu > Options > status

pin should be 8 digits long.
