IS THERE ANYWAY I CAN CONFIGURE THE CURRENT IT POLICY TO OPEN UP SMS IN THE Nextel 8350i? the current it policy blocks MMS, thank you for any assistance!!!

I assume since you mention IT policy that you are on BES. If that is the case, I doubt the=at you wil get much assistance. Trying to circumvent a company IT Policy is a big no-no in most firms and grounds for termination in many.

I do not recommend you even try it.

Although hacking at an IT Policy would be a great way to get fired.
All because you want SMS.

Derrick, your first post stated the the iDEN network does not allow SMS. What makes you think hacking your IT Policy will change that?

There's no hack that will help you. The 8350i can receive SMS and MMS but only send MMS - period.
