hi, i have an 8310 curve, i can get any off the google apps to work on it(google maps, gmail) the download works fine but after installing it the application just refuses to start, gives a message that there is a communication error....

do you have a blackberry data plan???

Sounds like its having issues connecting properly. Check apn if you have bis or some sort of data plan.
