Can anyone tell me how to find the gps unit id, or might it be the same as the pin number in blackberries? I have the 8350i, thanks.

What are you trying to do? Details help.

I've never heard of a BlackBerry having a GPS Unit ID.

No such thing that I am aware of on the 8350i.

What are you trying to do/accomplish?

Yeah I think that for blackberries the pin number doubles as gps id. I gave a copy of my Garmin Mobile to a family member (he's the one with the 8350i) but I don't really wanna give him my activation code. He now says he doesn't need it if he can find the gps unit id for his phone. Sounds like some kinda keygen situation or something to me. I doubt it'll work since I can't find a unit id for my 9000. I told him it's possible the pin code doubles as the gps id for blackberries. I don't really have a clue but it sounded good so i went with it lol. If he gets it to work I will take the credit

I don't think your family member has any idea what they're talking about.

lol doesn't sound to me like he does. I'm just having too much fun watching to tell him just yet that it's not gonna happen. I wanna see how long it takes him to give up.
