I have a user that has come to me with their BB 8330 and the keypad and trackball have stopped functioning. Only way I can get the display to come up on the phone is to plug the power cord in or remove it. Here is what I have done to try fixing the issue:
- Several battery pulls
- ESN swap with another known working phone which worked for several hours activated until it locked up just like the original phone
Now I have:
- 1 phone that is enterprise activated that has a locked keypad/trackball
- 1 phone that still needs to be activated with the carrier due to the ESN swap that also has a locked keypad/trackball
Any ideas how to fix both of these phones without deleting the user from the BlackBerry server?
We are running BES Version: 18.104.22.168 and this is only happening to this one user.
