Where did the songs come from? What format are the files?

Is it possible that they are protected content such as from iTunes?

And you should get a card to put your songs on? There's really not a lot of space on the device for them.

I dont know actually, like I said I am not very tech savy. I installed the software that came with my phone. The computer automatically located files from my computer and added them to the desktop manager.

Is it possible that they are protected content such as from iTunes?

How can I check this, sorry I dont know how.

I will be getting a card as soon as possible, but I just wanted to add one ring tone I made.

You need to be able to assess some of the information on your device and on your computer in order for us to try to help you.

If you are just trying to send one ringtone to your phone, the easiest thing would be to just send it via email or MMS to yourself on the device.

- Connect the BB to the computer
- Open the music folder in your micro sd card.
- Go to the tools>Folder Options menu in your Windows Explorer.
- Click in the view tab and select Show hidden files.
- Look for a file call BBThumbs.dat and delete the file.
- Done!

When you open your media player again this file will get recreate and the songs will be there.

Good luck...

**** Remember this have to be thru the Windows Explorer ****
