I am new to blackberry but on my old phones when my text was to big it just sent it in 2 or 3 texts. On my blackberry it won't even let me keep typing. Any way to change that?

I'm guess that you are asking about the 160 character limit on SMS rather than something else about text size.

Verizon does not support extended SMS on BlackBerry. You will have to manually break up the messages or use a third party application.

Many carriers will limit you to 160 characters per each SMS, Verizon included. As mentioned above, I have also heard of 3rd party software that gets you around it, but I do not recall the name, nor can I vouch for how well it works. Perhaps a Google search would be in order.

Beyond160 is the name of the app that lets you type and type and it will automatically break the long text into smaller ones and sends them individually in sequence.
