Im going back to australia and ive got a good sim card for vodafone service, would I be able to use that vodafone sim in my 8350i. The cards are the same size but would it be usable down there?

Wirelessly posted (White and Nerdy)

I believe you would need to unlock the phone...

And if you want data, you would need a blackberry data plan on vodaphone. A regular data plan won't cut it

I don't think you can unlock that phone. It's meant to run on the iDEN network. Could be wrong though.

The 8350i is iDEN only. It won't work in Australia - unless there is some rouge iDEN network provider down there....

Wirelessly posted (Scared of sea bunnies)

For reference, SIM cards pretty much the same spec (size wise). But previous post was correct, you might not be able to use it because of the different network.
