could anyone tell me how to collect messages from bb to desktop(computer). because i have an hobby of collecting the messages. actually i have not found this option in desktop manager.

Backup to the PC and use ABC Amber Converter to open the backup file.

I'm on a Mac and I use Missing Sync from Mark Space. They have an option of of backing up the sms. Afterward you can read them with his sms log program that is also part of Missing Sync. I have messages log that got back a year & I do about 2000 messages a month.
It's good way to keep an electronic log, Password Protect it or if found it could be use by the darkside.
