RIM pushed their Bing app to my BB this morning. At first, I was hesitant to install it because I already had the Google Mobile app installed and memory on my BB is starting to get low. But, I installed it anyway just to try it out.
I have to say, I am quite impressed with it. The map feature is GPS-enabled on my Verizon Wireless Curve. ( The GPS still doesn't work on Google Maps.) I was able to zoom in to the maximum zoom in Satellite view and still see the satellite view. I was not able to do that with Google Maps. The GPS even showed my location in the living room of my parents house! I know that isn't a function of the Bing app, but... Wow!
I'm so impressed that I uninstalled the Google Mobile app, Google Maps, and BB Maps.
If the turn-by-turn directions work well, I am going to consider uninstalling VZ Navigator and save both memory and money.
