Default Unlocked 8320 on ATT but unable to register HRT

Please Login to Remove!

Hi everyone, I am new to the site. I recently received a BB8320 as a gift? It is unlocked. Everything works fine, but I am not able to register to HRT, it keeps saying -no entry- even I tried to register. I have applied the blackberry plan on AT&T but the right top corner is showing edge only. Any help will be appreciated. Thank you!

Call AT&T as it sounds like the BlackBerry Data Plan has not been applied properly to your account.

Wirelessly posted (8820)

I added a data plan to an account around Christmas time a couple years ago. It took hours for the service books to arrive. For what it's worth. If it's been 1/2 a day, you might call, or wait until morning.

ok, I will give them a call tomorrow to see what happen. I just want to make sure unlock 8320 should work with ATT. btw, it is weird that when I called AT&T via 611, it was linked to T-mobile. Should I try get another SIM and try?

Umm, yeah...You must not have a AT&T SIM Card, cause I don't see how in anyway that dialing 611 from your phone with a AT&T SIM Card inserted would transfer you to T-Mobile 611, Unless you are using a Dual SIM capable phone...

What does it say at the top of your screen?
AT&T, or T-mobile?

It say AT&T, when I run diagnose test, the network column show: T-mobile, but I am sure I'm using AT&T.

Make sure the Network Selection is set to AUTOMATIC. I'd bet it is set to Manual and T-Mobile is selected.

OK. That was all about the phone. I got another one and everything works very well. Any apps are recommended, esp something like BB maps since AT&T block it.

It was the phone? Any explanation? I'm confused.

Apps? Depends on what you want. Get blackberry app world. Point you blackberry browswer to BlackBerry Wallpapers, Ringtones, and More.

On blackberry maps, there is a work around. Someone asked yesterday and someone posted a link. You'll find it. Just search.

Don't know exactly what happened. HRT table never registered and cannot access the EDGE network. While I use another one, I am able to do both things. Btw, my old one is more like a refurbished phone because ball track is not sensitive even I put 80/80.
