Default Curve 8300 Music Player Freezes

Please Login to Remove!

I am having a problem with my Blackberry Curve 8300 and was wondering if anyone has been experiencing the same. Once every week or so, the music player freezes intermittently. When this happens, I select a song, and it simply displays the song name without playing it. I can select as many songs as I want, and the same thing happens. I have tried restarting, and this does not work. The only solution is to simply wait until the problem goes away, which it usually does after a few hours.

Does anyone know of a solution to this most bothersome problem? I have heard that putting M4a files on the blackberry might be one reason this happens, but I doubt it. I would greatly appreciate anyone's help. Thank you so much!

Don't know why it would do that and then be ok after a while.

One thing you can try is copy everything off the card onto the compter, delete everything on the card (even hidden files), and then move just the media files back onto the card. Don't put the .dat files or anything back on the card, but just the audio, video, and image files.
